About the show
Lex & Terry first teamed up on the air at WFYV-FM, Jacksonville in 1992. The two had a successful morning show locally in Jacksonville and then in 1997, the duo decided to take the program into national syndication. The show found a national audience immediately and Lex & Terry eventually moved their broadcast operations to Dallas, TX, which still serves at the hometown for their studios. Lex Staley has a long history in radio both on the air and in various management capacities including having been a Program Director. Terry Jaymes comes from a background of comedy, television and live performance, and together they’ve got over 50 years of combined radio experience. Currently, the Lex & Terry show is broadcast in dozens of markets from 6am until 11am Eastern Time each weekday, with “Best-Of” segments available for weekend programming.

The patriarchs of the show, both guys have extensive on-air experience that they bring to the table, along with having assembled an engaging cast for the show. Lex comes from a strong radio management and programming background, so he gets it from the inside out. He is the “go to” for affiliates for any programming integration between the station and The Lex & Terry Show. Terry, a successful radio personality, former actor, & stand-up comedian is the major creative contributor to the show structure, even though it is run on a think-tank basis. The show has always manifested organic content consistently, and the team considers it a great day to not have to go to a planned bit. Terry Jaymes is a seasoned storyteller and a standup comedian who preforms regularly in Las Vegas. He’s also a former actor who had a recurring role on the soap opera Santa Barbara and starred in the FOX Networks Sunday Comics and Comic Strip Live. Currently he’s the co-host and founder of the Lex and Terry Radio Network. He also dabbles in the podcast world doing a show with his wife Shari called Gang of Two.
This lady is baaaaack! Bringing a ton of broadcast experience as well as being the show hot-tay, Millennial and sometimes show mama, Sarah adds that special sauce to the show and keeps the guys on their toes. She is a content queen and listeners looooove her for good reason! Sarah B started her career with Lex & Terry as a part time phone screener at the age of 22. She didn’t scare easily and stuck with the Lex & Terry fam and has been in the radio biz full time for over 10 years now. She loves to travel, go off-roading in her Jeep and lives for going to concerts and going out dancing when she isn’t at home hanging with her two cockatoos.
The are a few words that can describe Dee the Executive Producer/Sidekick of the Lex & Terry Radio Network–Funny, Weird, Passionate & Loyal. Yes this guy’s dream finally can true when Lex & Terry offered him a full time job doing Morning Radio.
Although Dee’s been a part of the show for 23 years in one form or another, he’s really hit his stride as an on-air contributor and a behind the scenes work horse. Dee is no stranger to sharing his life with the listening audience whether it’s on-air or on Social Media.
His positive energy & laugh are infectious and after being in the business for 25 years there is no slowing him down.
