TJ Taormina Returns to New York City with First Ever Pop-Up Radio Station
New York, NY — September 3, 2024 — United Stations Radio Networks (USRN), proudly announces the launch of an exclusive radio pop-up station on 98.7FM WEPN, the soon-to-be former home of ESPN Radio in New York City.
On August 31st, the Emmis Corporation station will become ‘TJ98.7: A Pop-Up Station’ as a limited engagement, and will feature an exciting mix of contemporary programming, including the fastest growing new morning show, The TJ Show, hosted by Z100 Alumni, TJ Taormina.
The innovative project will mark TJ Taormina’s return to the New York City radio market and offer listeners a fresh blend of music and joyful talk content, aiming to redefine what’s possible for the radio experience by blending traditional broadcasting with modern, interactive elements.
The station will also feature voices from YES Network and Inside Edition’s Steve Kamer, and dynamic on-air personality, Jai Kershner. Radio.Cloud will power the project with its cutting-edge cloud based automation platform, allowing the network to customize local and national content.
