Network to Handle National Ad Sales for All Weekend and Daily House of Hair Programming

New York, NY – July 17, 2017 --  United Stations Radio Networks, Inc. (“USRN”), an independent leader in the creation and marketing of network radio programming, today announced a partnership with long-running, successful and beloved programs, THE HOUSE OF HAIR and THE DAILY HOUSE OF HAIR CUT.   The new deal calls for USRN to handle the advertising sales for the national commercial time in these popular and widely distributed programs created by Pam Edwards and Bernadette Productions, LLC, and hosted by rock legend, Dee Snider.   Bernadette Productions will handle affiliate relations for the programs while USRN handles all ad sales, affiliate compliance and other back-office functions for the shows.   This agreement in place and is effective immediately and this announcement comes jointly from USRN’s EVP/Programming Andy Denemark and from Pam Edwards at Bernadette Productions.

The House of Hair is in its 20th year on the air nationwide and steadily garners new affiliates each month.   It is the nation's #1 syndicated weekend rock show, with over 200 affiliates in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  The long-form show debuted as a two-hour weekly offering to rock radio stations of all descriptions in 1997, and expanded to three hours weekly in 2009.  The brand also expanded into weekday features with the introduction of a short-form vignette, The Daily House of Hair Cut in 2007.  The producers of the show also maintain a website for news, interactivity and requests at www.houseofhaironline.com. That web address has not only become a valuable interactive tool for fans of the show, but is the home of the popular contesting that is conducted via the radio shows.

Host Dee Snider remains one of the most recognizable rock icons of his generation.   He is best known as the lead singer of the acclaimed rock band, Twisted Sister, but he is also a television host, author, screenplay writer, actor and Broadway playwright.  In addition to The House of Hair, he’s also helmed talk radio shows, podcasts and satellite and syndicated shows.  In his personal life, he is a doting husband of nearly 40 years, the father of four children and now a grandfather as well.   During the last decade, VH-1 produced the unscripted series, ‘Meet the Family,’ an endearing look at Dee and his family.   Dee Snider also wrote, narrated and produced Van Helsing’s Curse, an eighteen-piece orchestral rock recording that has been hailed by critics as the new soundtrack for Halloween.   In radio, Dee has hosted the House of Hair and its spinoffs since their inception.
